I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

A prolific thief was arrested on Sunday 23rd November for a parcel theft in Somerset Road, KT1. He was charged and sent to court today. We are committed to catching and prosecuting thieves in the area and encourage the community to report any thefts or suspicious activity to police via 101 or www.met.police.uk

With the festive season rapidly approaching, we know that there will be more parcels being left on doorsteps and ask you to be vigilant and take in parcels for your neighbours or provide safe places for deliveries where possible.
